FORMER ALABAMA FOOTBALL PLAYER ARRESTED IN TUSCALOOSA

Gun Permits

Former Alabama and NFL wide receiver Ardarius Stewart spent part of this morning behind bars in Tuscaloosa.

Police say they pulled over Stewart’s F250 on Skyland Boulevard because his tag was expired. Police also say Stewart had a pistol in the vehicle but he did not have a permit for it.

They arrested a man riding with him, 24-year-old Demarcus Marshall of Center Point. Police say he had enough marijuana on him to charge him with a felony.
