Many times we see our first responders as nothing more than their jobs or their uniforms.

Aside from paramedics, law enforcement officers and firefighters – these men and women are fathers, mothers, sons and daughters.
Deputies from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office were among the first on Sunday’s plane crash scene near the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport.
Deputies we spoke with say all the training in the world could never prepare them for tragedies like this.
