Featured Teacher: Patricia Ford, Rock Quarry Elementary School

Congratulations to Rock Quarry Elementary’s School’s Patricia Ford, who’s this month’s Featured Teacher.

The person who nominated Ford had this to say:

“Patricia Ford is the most amazing kindergarten teacher. My oldest went from no interest in reading and not able to make out many words to fully reading in six weeks. My youngest was barely 5 when she started kindergarten. I was worried about her age and she wasn’t progressing as fast as her sister did, but by the end of the year her scores in literacy and math were above the national average.

Patricia has a way with kids that gets them interested in learning and they become the top students in their class. They absolutely love her, too. She puts her all into teaching and even leads the summer learning program.”
