FBI CONDUCTS SEPARATE INVESTIGATION INTO ANTHONY WARE’S DEATH

As the investigation continues into Anthony Ware’s death,  the Tuscaloosa Police Department and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office are taking further action into the case.

In a media release Friday, TPD states that the FBI agency in Birmingham has been contacted in regards to this case. They’ve requested for the Department of Justice to conduct a separate review into the investigation of Ware’s death.

TPD says this is the next logical step to ensure transparency and accountability with the case.
TPD also believes this will continue to demonstrate to the public their willingness to be open and honest about the investigation.
