Fayette man killed in Tuesday Fayette County crash

A 65-year-old man is dead in the wake of a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Fayette County.
The wreck happened just before 6 p.m. on U.S. Highway 43 near the 44-mile marker, about 9 miles north of Fayette city limits.
Jimmy D. Feltman, 65, was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was operating ran off the road and into a tree. Feltman was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the cause of the wreck.
