The city of Fayette is celebrating its bicentennial this weekend with the two-day Alabama Frog Level Festival! The city has a lot planned for the next two days and everyone is invited. The festival kicks off Friday in downtown Fayette at 4 p.m., with three bands. Saturday, the festivities start at 8 a.m. with a 5K run at Guthrie Smith Park and a classic car cruise-in.
The Kids Zone opens at 10 a.m., the same time as the frog jumping contest. Throughout the day, several bands will be playing and the corn hole tournament will start at noon. The party concludes with fireworks at 9 p.m.
