FATALITY FROM TUESDAY NIGHT’S STORMS

WEST POINT, Ala. (AP) – Authorities say a Cullman County man was killed by a falling tree during a storm.

County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick says 59-year-old Randy Blackwood of West Point died Tuesday night after a tree fell on him outside his house.

Kilpatrick says Blackwood was trying to move lawn equipment to a shed when a tree was uprooted by high winds and fell onto the man and his house.
