Fatal wreck in Marion County kills woman from Florida

A single-vehicle crash early Saturday in Marion County resulted in the death of a woman from Jacksonville, Florida.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on Interstate 22 near the 38-mile marker, about 12 miles east of Winfield.
Janet R. Krehemker, 63, was fatally injured when the van she was driving ran off the road and into a ravine. Krehemker was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the cause of the crash.
