Fatal Tuscaloosa County crash kills 23-year-old man

A two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon killed a 23-year-old man in Tuscaloosa County.

The crash happened at Crescent Ridge Road about 1 mile east of Tuscaloosa city limits.

Darterrius D. Washington was fatally injured when he the motorcycle he was operating fell and slid into a sedan.

Washington was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
