FATAL SHOOTING IN HENAGAR

HENAGAR, Ala. (AP) – Authorities are investigating after they say a man was found fatally shot in Henagar.

Multiple media outlets report that officials found the unidentified victim apparently shot to death at a home on Saturday night. Investigators say the victim was found lying in the front yard next to a riding lawnmower.

Authorities say the victim’s body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris says the incident is still being investigated.
