Tuscaloosa, Ala- Alabama and LSU. A matchup that rivals most and the hype for this years game is bigger than ever before. In preparation for this game, fans have been coming into town a day or two early to beat the rush that is sure to happen on Friday and Saturday.

“We’ve got the biggest crowd we’ve ever had,” said Bruce Taylor, the owner of Bama RV. “We’re at overflow capacity.”

President Donald Trump’s attendance is even more reason for people all around Tuscaloosa to be prepared when they need to go to town on Saturday. Eddie Hawkins worked in law enforcement for 31 years and helped security when President Reagan visited Dothan, Alabama, during his term.

“Being in law enforcement,” said Hawkins, “I know that all law enforcement in that area participated in the security of the president coming in.”

The arrival of the president seems to fit the tone of the national excitement for game day.

“The hype even in Nashville is crazy,” said David Poole, anAlabama fan from Nashville, Tennessee. “A lot of Alabama fans in Tennessee, so it’s been a lot of fun this week,”
