FAMILY LOSES EVERYTHING IN MOBILE HOME FIRE

TUSCALOOSA – A Tuscaloosa County family is asking for help after their home was destroyed by fire Tuesday night.

Fire ravaged a mobile home where two sisters, Shonna Deane and Tammy Skelton, live on Marina Drive. A teddy bear, and little else, managed to survive the flames.

Deane said the fire was sparked by a live-wire that was underneath the bedroom. The entire family and their pets, two cats and a dog, escaped unharmed.
