FAMED ALABAMA QUARTERBACK KENNY STABLER DIES
Famed University of Alabama football quarterback Kenny Stabler has died.
The family said the cause of death was colon cancer. He was 69.
Stabler was one of the Crimson Tide’s most memorable players to wear the number 12, and played for coach Paul W. Bryant.
Stabler followed SEC and National Championship wins at Alabama with a Super Bowl win and success in the NFL.
Later in life, he returned to the Tide family as a color commentator for the Crimson Tide Sports Network..
