HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) – Two African Servals that escaped captivity from a north Alabama business last week have been found and recaptured. WHNT-TV reports that both cats were found Wednesday and are now back home at 256Exotics in Huntsville, cuddling together in an enclosure.

The business reported the animals missing in a Sept. 12 social media post. Servals can grow as large as 2 feet tall and weigh up to 40 pounds.

They typically have small heads, large ears and a yellow coat with black spots and stripes.

Al.com reports that Alabama is one of 18 states where residents can own African Servals without a license.
