Ex probation officer facing more charges after 4 new victims come forward
A Tuscaloosa County probation officer already facing charges of sexual misconduct after his arrest in August is getting even more charges after further investigation.
Jeremy Damon Hall was arrested Aug. 12 on charges of custodial sexual misconduct after he was accused of having sex with someone who was on probation or parole. Hall was fired in the wake of his arrest.
After his arrest, the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit began searching for other people who were supervised by Hall and were coerced or otherwise convinced to have sex with him.
Four more victims came forward, and Hall was charged with six additional custodial sexual misconduct charges.
He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on Oct. 3 on a $90,000 bond, but the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney’s Office filed a motion requiring strict release conditions on Hall’s bond, including ankle monitoring. That motion was granted.
Investigators believe there may be more victims in the case.
They’re asking that anyone who was supervised by Hall and was approached, propositioned, threatened, coerced or otherwise convinced into engaging into sexual conduct with Hall to contact the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit at 205-464-8690.
