ENTERTAINERS STUCK WITH NO ONE TO ENTERTAIN

Of course you’ve heard about the countless number of service industry employees who are currently out of a job because of the coronavirus pandemic, but what about the people who make their paychecks performing for others?

Local comedy show producer Richard Lockhart said unlike artists and musicians, comedians feed off their audience. That’s a big bummer when you can’t be in a room with more than 10 people and have to keep 6 feet apart at all times.

“They’re out of a job and not considered essential, which they very well should be,” Lockhart said. “Because who doesn’t need a comedian right now?”
