DOZENS OF SHOTS FIRED, VEHICLE HIT

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit investigators are trying to figure out who shot into a 17-year-old’s vehicle during a big party on Foster’s Ferry Road on July 5, early morning, around 12:30 a.m. According to investigators, a fight between about nine women lead to several men pulling guns and opening fire on each other. Some of those shots hit the car while the 17-year-old was inside. She was not injured. Investigators recovered about 60 shell casings for a variety of guns at the scene.
