UPDATE: BODIES FOUND IN FAYETTE COUNTY IDENTIFIED
UPDATE May 2, 2018: The men found dead in Fayette County Tuesday have been identified.
The Alabama Bureau of Investigation, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force and the 14th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced today that Hernan Antonio Padilla, 55, and Allen Clifford Sandlin, 56, were the men found dead.
Investigators said their deaths have been ruled as homicides.
The Faytte County Sheriff’s Office and Alabama Bureau of Investigation are searching for answers after someone discovered a pair of bodies near the Walker County line.
The men’s bodies were found this morning, about 2 miles outside Carbon Hill on Fish Hatchery Road.
Fayette County Sheriff Rodney Ingle said they’re investigating the bodies as a double homicide, but there are no suspects at this time.
