DOLLAR GENERAL DEDICATING FIRST HOUR OF SHOPPING FOR SENIORS

Dollar General will start dedicating their first hour of operations to senior citizens starting Tuesday.

From 8 to 9 a.m., all Dollar General stores will be dedicated to seniors since they are the most vulnerable to the coronavirus.

“It will give us a chance to get in and out,” said Paul Young. “If they give us that hour like I’m doing now, I can go ahead and pick up a couple of items and be gone.”

In addition, Dollar General stores will close an hour earlier than normal so employees can restock and sanitize their stores.
