DOCUMENTARY ABOUT THE STRIP TO DEBUT AT BAMA THEATRE ON SEPT. 24

If you’ve ever traveled down University Boulevard in Tuscaloosa, you’ve been on Tuscaloosa’s most colorful quarter-mile.

That’s exactly what the new locally-produced movie is called. The movie which makes its debut tomorrow night, is all about the history of The Strip.  The focus is on how the state laws back then, which prohibited bars within one mile of a institute of higher learning, changed, thus dramatically reshaping the social and music scene in Tuscaloosa.

Viewers can see the film tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. at the Bama Theatre. General admission tickets are $8 and student and senior tickets are $7.
