DCH SHOWS APPRECIATION FOR STAFF DURING NATIONAL HOSPITAL WEEK
National Hospital Week is underway and physicians and staff members at Tuscaloosa’s DCH Regional Medical Center plan to use the next several days to celebrate hospitals, health systems and the women and men who support the health and well being of their communities.
DCH recently held several events to show appreciation for the doctors, nurses, support staff and volunteers that allow the medical center to serve the Tuscaloosa area.
The DCH administration recognizes how important its staff is and has changed the pay structure to help retain staff members and offer competitive wages.
“What an awesome thing to be able to provide them with recognition and to say thank you to them and to be able to even show that in our pay structure, to say we recognize where we are and we want to be competitive in the market,” said DCH Human Resources Director Mildred Black Hooks.
