Former Alabama basketball player Dazon Ingram will transfer to Central Florida for his final year of eligibility.

This past season he averaged 7.1 points per game for the Crimson Tide. He started 93 games in four years at Alabama, including 19 this past year and will be immediately eligible at Central Florida as a graduate transfer.

He also considered Western Kentucky and had interest from other schools, including Nebraska, Wichita State, Gonzaga and Ohio State.

Central Florida finished 24-9 this season, losing to top-seeded Duke in the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament. The past two seasons, the Knights have played the Crimson Tide, with UCF winning both matchups.
