DANCE CLINIC FEATURING UA DANCE AND CHEER TEAMS WILL RAISE MONEY FOR SECRET MEALS PROGRAM

Dylan Thing

An upcoming dance clinic featuring the University of Alabama dance and cheer teams will seek to raise money for Secret Meals for Hungry Children. Founded in 2008 by the Alabama Credit Union, Secret Meals for Hungry Children provides food insecure students with meals over the weekend.

The Alabama dance and cheer teams will lead the clinic, teaching participants school cheers and dance routines. Participants will then perform their newly-learned routines for parents. After the dancing is done, there will be photo opportunities with the dance and cheer teams, Big Al and Miss University of Alabama Isabella Powell. Door prizes will also be given out at the event.

The dance clinic begins at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 8 and will conclude at 6 p.m. Presale tickets are $30 and can be purchased online here. Tickets will also be available at the door during the event. The event will be hosted at 1825 Mcfarland Blvd N #160, Tuscaloosa AL 35406.
