SAUSAGE CRESCENT BARS

1 lb. Ziegler breakfast sausage browned and drained (hot or mild)

2 8 oz. of Cream Cheese – softened

2-4 tbsp. finely chopped jalapeno peppers (adjust to your heat preference)

2 pkgs of crescent rolls (whole sheets if available)

Brown and scramble the sausage.  Drain well. Add softened cream cheese and chopped jalapenos while sausage is still warm. Mix well.  Lay 1 entire sheet of crescent rolls flat on a greased baking sheet. Spread mixture evenly on top of crescent dough. Top mixture with another full sheet of crescent dough. Bake @ 350° for 20-25 minutes until dough is browned and mixture is bubbly. Cool and cut in squares.
