CRIMSON TIDE EXCITED ABOUT NEW SIDELINE TENT

Imagine being at a doctor’s office. Now, add 100,000 screaming fans while you’re being examined. That’s been an added stress on injured college football players around the country for years.

Now, thanks to several UA Engineering students, Crimson Tide players and doctors will have some privacy on the sidelines beneath a one of a kind tent designed for privacy.

The concept began as a senior project for several engineering seniors. They say this project moved faster than most, going from concept to completion in just a matter of months.

Head Athletic Football Trainer Jeff Allen told WVUA 23’s Jack Royer that simple as it may be, this invention is now becoming essential to the medical staff.
