The Crimson Tide Ballroom Dancers are hosting a masquerade ball Saturday. The event will be held at the Ferguson Center on the University of Alabama campus and will start at 6:30 p.m.

The attire is semi-formal and costumes and masks are welcome.

Jim Kunz, the head dance instructor, said that some students get excited about their costume ideas.

“We have some students that are very creative in what they wear,” he said. “Some of them just buy store masks, but some of them they make their own. And like I said some of them get very creative in the outfits that they wear to the masquerade ball.”

General admission tickets costs $7 per person and tickets for couples costs $12. CTBD is a student organization, but the event is open to anyone who wants to attend.
