Crestmont Elementary named 2022 Model School

Crestmont Elementary School in Tuscaloosa County is one of 30 schools across the U.S. named a 2022 Model School by the International Center for Leadership in Education.

The organization recognized Crestmont for its work in creating a positive school culture and environment.

“I think it’s amazing recognition because our faculty and staff have worked so very hard,” said Crestmont Principal Lucretia Prince. “It is an honor, and it is definitely something our faculty and staff deserve. I think this achievement goes back to our motto, ‘One team, one dream, one mission,’ and when everyone buys into the goal then success is right around the corner.”
