Couple helping other couples, groups have perfect picnic dates

A local couple is taking the couple’s picnic to the next level by ensuring the date goes off without a hitch and includes everything needed for an upscale time.

Ashley Jackson and Brennan White opened Picnic Vibes Tuscaloosa in early April after finding the inspiration to start the business together through social media.

“We saw people in California and Texas setting up picnics in these beautiful locations, and we wanted to do something for ourselves and as a cute date do something to be different until she saw that people were turning that into a business,” White said.

Jackson said she wanted to bring this beautiful activity to Tuscaloosa for others to enjoy as well.

Each picnic package features a variety of games, food, drinks and tableware, and picnics can include between two and 20 people. Prices start at $125 for a two-hour picnic for two. Potential picnic locations include local parks, the University of Alabama quad or your own backyard.

Jackson said they’re preparing new packages with different items, which will be available soon.
