UPDATE: COTTONDALE MAN ON TRIAL IN DUI DEATH GUILTY OF MURDER

UPDATE Nov. 7, 2 p.m.: Kevin Henderson is guilty of murder in the death of 17-year-old Chase Price.

Price died in the wake of a 2016 wreck after Henderson’s car collided with Price’s. Henderson was said to have had a blood alcohol concentration of more than 0.10 at the time of the crash.


A Cottondale man is on trial for murder after a 2016 DUI charge resulted in the death of a 17-year-old.

Kevin Henderson could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted.

According to court documents, Henderson was under the influence of alcohol and other potential prescription drugs when he collided with a car driven by Chase Price. Price died as a result of the crash.

Grace Prince with the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday in court that Henderson’s blood alcohol concentration was over 0.10 at the time of the crash. The legal limit is 0.08.

Henderson’s trial resumes today.
