CORONAVIRUS WILL IMPACT BUSINESSES AFTER VIRUS IS UNDER CONTROL

Even after the coronavirus pandemic is finally under control, the virus will leave a lasting impacting on our society in many ways. While it will change the way we enjoy football games or go to movies, it’s greatest impact may be on businesses, according to Dr. Thomas Weida, the chief medical officer at the University of Alabama Medical Center.

“Well I think again it’s going to take a while for businesses to ramp up,” Weida said. “That’s going to be a significant thing for service industry to ramp up, for people to have money to be able to have disposable income. I think again you’re gonna need to be aware of folks who have symptoms and they need to be aware themselves and stay home. So often we know even in flu season, people have colds or flus go back to work and guess what they give all their coworkers a wonderful but needed Christmas present.”
