COMMUNITY FORUM OFFERS CONVERSATION CHANCE FOR RESIDENTS, POLICE

Tuscaloosa Police Department

Local law enforcement leaders are offering residents a chance at having a free-flowing chat with them next week during a community forum.

WVUA 23 and The Tuscaloosa News are sponsoring the event being held at First African Baptist Church on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. The goal? Opening the lines of communication between residents and law enforcement.

Tuscaloosa Police Chief Steve Anderson will be there along with other local law enforcement leaders for the forum. Moderating the event is University of Alabama School of Law Professor Bryan Fair.

Residents wanting to ask questions at the forum are encouraged to submit their questions in advance to Tuscaloosa News Chief Photographer gary.cosby@tuscaloosanews.com.

Anyone who attends will have the chance to submit questions, and the moderator will address speakers and foster discussion.
