COLUMBIANA MAN DIES IN TUSCALOOSA COUNTY TRAFFIC FATALITY

A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Columbiana man Tuesday afternoon.

The crash occurred on Interstate 59 near the 89 mile marker, 16 miles north of Tuscaloosa.

Twenty year-old Johnathan Fredrick Matzke was killed when the 2008 Ford F-250 he was driving collided with a 2008 Volvo driven by 40 year-old Ira Murphy of Columbia, South Carolina.

Matzke was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
