Christ Episcopal Church will host their annual Lazarus Toy Sale on Thursday evening from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

The purpose of the sale is to assist families in need of financial assistance.

Toys range in price from 25 cents to $5.

Coordinator of Church Programming and Outreach Katherine Gould said she believes families should be able to enjoy gifts without worrying about the price.

“Christmas shouldn’t have to be about spending too much money. It is about being with family and anything we can do to make shopping a little easier that’s what we’re her for; the doors open at 5 o’clock and it’s for an hour and a half,” Gould said.

The sale will take place in Randall Hall, just off the church’s Seventh Street entrance.
