CHEF TEACHES TUSCALOOSANS TO MAKE SUSHI AT HOME

By WVUA 23 Student Reporter Taylor Neuman

Are you a fan of sushi, but unable to afford a trip to your favorite sushi place whenever you want? Why not try making your own?

Sushi instructor and chef Kelly Viall visited Black Warrior Brewing Company over the weekend, showing residents how make sushi themselves.

On average, sushi rolls cost between $5 and $10 a roll, but if you make it yourself your cost is closer to $2 a roll, Viall said.

“I love that they are so excited when they leave here,” she said. “And then I make sure that they know my Facebook page and my Twitter, Instagram. Everybody, after they take the class, tags me in all their pictures because I love to see them making it at home.”

If you want more information on how you can learn, you can visit Viall’s Facebook page.
