CENTREVILLE MAN CHARGED IN 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL’S SEXUAL ASSAULT

A Centreville man is behind bars and facing rape, sexual abuse and human trafficking charges after police say he assaulted a 15-year-old girl.

Roy Thomas Grammer-Mays, 35, is charged with three counts of first-degree rape, three counts of human trafficking, three counts of first-degree sexual abuse, one count of first-degree sodomy and 1 count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police said they believe the abuse goes back at least two years, and the victim is autistic.

Grammer-Mays was arrested Dec. 30 and was taken to the Bibb County Jail, where he is being held on a $770,000 bond. Police said more charges are expected.
