CARBON HILL RESIDENTS STILL LOOKING FOR ANSWERS AFTER MAN’S DEATH

Adam Sandlin

The Carbon Hill community in Walker County is still reeling after the death of one of their own, and investigators are still searching for answers.

Now, new reward fliers are going up, serving as a plea to the question: Why was Allen Sandlin killed?

Sandlin’s daughter is offering a reward for anyone who has information that helps lead to an arrest, while the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency continues following up on information and new leads.

With the addition of a reward, the community is hoping answers come quick.

“He was well liked,” said family friend Don Tittle. “He wouldn’t hurt nobody. He was just a handy man.”

If you have any information about the case, please contact the State Bureau of Investigation at 256-436-1344.
