CAN YOU IDENTIFY THIS WOMAN? TPD SEARCHES FOR SUSPECTED THIEF

The Tuscaloosa Police Department needs the public’s help in catching a theft suspect.

TPD responded to a theft call on Sept. 14 at CVS on the corner of Veterans Memorial Parkway and McFarland Boulevard. An African American woman wearing a orange-pink and black baseball tee with the number 95 on it, leggings, a black headband and orange-pink sneakers entered the store that day, presented the cashier with two gift cards, a Sprite and a package of cashews to purchase.

The cashier on duty loaded $300 onto the gift cards, then the suspect left with the gift cards and Sprite in her black purse, leaving the cashews. She did not pay for any of the items.
