CAMPUS VETERANS ASSOCIATION GETS DONATION FROM DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS

The Campus Veterans Association for the University of Alabama got some help today from a local veterans network.

The local chapter of Disabled American Veterans presented a $1,000 check to the UA group today. The money goes toward helping the Campus Veteran Association assist more student veterans on campus.

But it will also help support their their dependents and survivors. Organizers said the funds will help them do more for Alabama’s veterans.
