Home with nothing to do? Not the students from Buhl Elementary School!

BES opened its doors Tuesday and Thursday to allow parents and guardians to pick up education packets for students to work on during their time away from the classrooms. The packets include educational activities that are also fun.

“There is math in the packets. There is review reading in the packets,” Jennifer Manning, a reading specialist at Buhl said. “Some of the teachers actually gave students pencils, crayons, markers, dry-erase boards, and numerous other things that they might need to complete the sheets that the teachers had sent home.”

Teachers hope this will remind students that learning is fun, even in quarantine.
