The Paul Bryant Museum has opened a pop-up shop in University Mall for the holiday season.

The shop opened last week and will close on New Year’s Eve. The store is selling clothing items, toys and Christmas items that include Santa plates that can be found nowhere else. Autographed books from Crimson Tide legends will also be sold.

“So we’re excited this is a completely new experience for us,” Bryant Museum business manager Olivia Arnold said. “We’ll do a pop-up shop in different locations periodically for a couple of hours but to have a long term separate location from the museum. It’s been a learning experience. It’s been fun maybe we will do it again next year we will just kind of see how it goes.”

Along with its pop-up shop, the Bryant Museum is hosting an open house on Monday, Dec. 9 from 4 – 7 p.m. The event will include holiday music, refreshments and children’s activities. Customers who attend the event will also receive a 20 percent discount at the museum store. The Bryant museum is located directly across from Coleman Coliseum
