Alabama running back Brian Robinson Jr. ran for 171 yards and four touchdowns to give the No. 1 Crimson Tide a 42-21 blowout win against the No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels.

Going to this game, college football fans expected a shootout between the two Heisman trophy front-runners, quarterbacks Bryce Young and Matt Corral.

The spread for this game was Bama -14.5. However, most people bet the under, as they expected this to be a close game.

But Robinson had other plans.

By the end of the first half, Robinson had two 1-yard touchdowns. Bryce Young found wide receiver John Metchie III and tight end Cameron Latu for touchdowns to give the Tide a dominant 28-0 lead at halftime.

Throughout the first half, Ole Miss went for it on fourth down multiple times. Head coach Lane Kiffin’s attempt to lower the score margin only made things worse for the Rebels.

Robinson started the second half with a one-yard score.

Ole Miss finally got on the board with 8:25 left in the third quarter after a 10-yard touchdown run by Matt Corral.

Robinson had his fourth-and-final touchdown from two yards out with 10:47 left in the fourth quarter. The Tide were now up 42-7.

Ole Miss got it together in the final nine minutes as they scored two touchdowns in that time period.

In a game that featured two of the best players in college football, the lesser-known running back stole the show.
