BRENT MAN DIES AFTER HIGHWAY 82 WRECK SUNDAY

A single vehicle crash early Sunday morning claimed the life of a Brent man on Monday.

It happened on U.S. Highway 82 at the 60.2 mile marker, about six miles east of Tuscaloosa.

Anthony Lawrence Brewer, 27, was seriously injured when the truck he was driving left the road and overturned. Brewer was ejected and airlifted to University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital, where he died Monday. He was not wearing a seat belt.

State troopers are investigating.
