BOMB THREAT INVESTIGATION AT MONTGOMERY SHOPPING CENTER

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) – Authorities are investigating a bomb threat at a Montgomery shopping mall.

Montgomery police spokeswoman Martha Earnhardt says the threat Monday afternoon was in an unspecified area of the Shoppes at Eastchase and the buildings are being evacuated. Additional details on the threat weren’t immediately available.

Police say authorities are searching the area and no explosive device has been located.

Drivers are asked to find alternate routes through the area.
