BODY FOUND NEAR MOBILE AIRPORT

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) – Police in Mobile are investigating after a man was found shot to death near the downtown airport.

Mobile police Public Information Officer Terence Perkins told local media the man’s body was found along a roadway shortly before 12:30 a.m. Saturday. He had been shot at least once and died at the scene.

Police were still investigating the motive, and no suspects were in custody.

Police are urging anyone with information about the shooting to call them.
