BLOOD DONATIONS NEEDED FOR FINAL WEEKS OF SUMMER

The American Red Cross needs more blood donors in the final weeks of summer thanks to a critical blood shortage.
Organizers said the summer months are the most challenging for blood collection, since students are out of school and many people go on vacation.
Donors of all blood types are needed.
Schedule an appointment to give blood by downloading the free Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting redcrossblood.org or calling 1-800-733-2767. Donors are encouraged to make appointments and complete the RapidPass online health history questionnaire at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass.
