BLACK WARRIOR SONGWRITERS, EAT MY BEATS TEAM UP FOR BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB FUNDRAISER

The Black Warrior Songwriters and Eat My Beats Music Foundation are teaming up tonight for the Boys and Girls Club of West Alabama.

Award-winning folk duo Ryanhood is performing and the event, from 8 to 10 p.m. at Hotel Indigo, is raising money for the establishment of a free after school music program for the Boys and Girls Club.

“It costs about $350 per child to be able to provide lessons and an instrument for the year,” said Eat My Beats Music Foundation’s Nikki Ray. “We want to make it a consistent basis to be able to do that on a weekly basis over there.”

Admission to the event is is free, but VIP tickets are available for $30. Those tickets get you a front-row table at the event and a chance to meet Ryanhood.

Donations can also be made at embmusicfoundation.org.
