West AlabamaWorks’s Black Belt Hiring Tour is coming to Pickens County next week.
The regional job fair will take place at Aliceville City Hall on Tuesday, July 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Aliceville Mayor Terrence Windham said he hears of people looking for work all the time.
“I am thankful for West AlabamaWorks, and the many partners for taking the time out to come into our city to provide this workforce assistance,” he said in a statement.
Participating employers are offering seasonal and full-time positions in warehouses and production.
Applicants should prepare to interview, bring copies of their resume and dress for success.
According to a press release, 212 people have found employment through similar events over the last two months in Greene, Hale, Marengo and Sumter counties.
“By continuing to host these hiring events in each of our Black Belt Counties, especially in a central location such as a City Hall, we hope it continues to draw crowds of people looking for roles in all kinds of fields,” said West AlabamaWorks Executive Director Donny Jones in a statement.
