BENTLEY ANNOUNCES SPECIAL SESSION DATES

Today Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley announced a special session in the state legislature will begin Aug. 15.
“An Alabama lottery is expected to generate $220 million annually, and after we’ve exhausted all other options, I believe this is our best chance to solve this problem,” Bentley said.
Bentley also said he can’t stand by while more than half a million children in Alabama go without health care.
