BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY: BAMA WARNS FANS OF TICKET FRAUDSTERS
The University of Alabama is reminding fans that not all good deals are legitimate and fans who buy through sketchy services can find themselves stuck outside the stadium on Game Day.
The UA Athletic Ticket Office at Coleman Coliseum can verify your ticket if you’re worried they’re fake between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Game Day, tickets can be verified beginning at 10 a.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium at Gate 3 or Gate 32.
Counterfeit tickets are often sold online or by people around the stadium and on campus on Game Day.
The University of Alabama Athletic Ticket Office is the only authorized primary outlet for Alabama football tickets. Fans can also purchase tickets off StubHub, which is an authorized secondary marketplace. Although there are many other legitimate ways to buy tickets, fans purchasing them elsewhere do so at their own risk.
It’s an unfortunate reality, but anyone with a counterfeit ticket won’t be let inside, and anyone with fraudulent tickets may be subject to investigation.
