Back to class? Back in masks at University of Alabama

University Of Alabama

Classes at the University of Alabama begin again Jan. 12, and students, faculty and staff will once more be required to wear masks in the wake of the most recent COVID-19 outbreak.

Masks will be required, regardless of vaccination status, in all academic buildings, administrative and office buildings, health care facilities and campus transportation. Those in administrative and office buildings are only required to mask up when social distance cannot be maintained.

Faculty, staff and students must report a positive COVID-19 test to the university’s COVID Support Program online or by calling 205-348-3819.

Vaccines and boosters are available for students, faculty and staff at University Medical Center and the Student Health Center. Testing is also available.
